A Club Built Around Learning, Friendship, and Play

The Denver Jewish Chess Club brings together adults, teens, kids, beginners, families, and experienced players for regular chess gatherings in a warm Jewish community setting. Our goal is to create an intergenerational space where people can play games, improve their skills, meet new friends, and build community through one of the world's greatest games.

Beginner lessons, puzzles, study guides, game reviews, and curated improvement resources.

A meaningful non-screen activity where parents and kids can learn together, build focus, practice patience, and have fun.

A Great Screen-Free Activity for Families

Chess gives parents and children a shared activity that builds concentration, problem-solving, patience, resilience, and confidence. The club will include kid-friendly instruction, beginner resources, and training materials to help families get started. Children are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
